Shawna Trpcic, costume designer for Firefly, has donated this beautiful dress from her own private collection. This is not a reproduction, folks, this is the actual dress that Morena Baccarin (Inara) wore in the opening bar scene of the episode Shindig.
The dress is a three-piece outfit, including the beautifully beaded top, long skirt with a drape down the front, and matching scarf. It is a size 4-6, but the fabric has been left in so that it can be altered to be a larger size later, if the winner chooses.
The inside waistband is signed by Shawna Trpcic. We will try to get Morena to sign it too, if possible.
